Mr. Orleans John became the first Principal in 1979. Many other principals have left their incredible mark. Namely: the late Victor Antoine, Spencer Edwards, Aden Slinger, Mathias Williams and Pauline St. Paul. The school's curriculum consisted of sixteen subjects. Amongst them were technical/vocational subjects including Home Economics, Needlework, Woodwork, Auto Mechanic and Electricity.

The four original houses of the school were Bishop, Garvey, Marley and Marryshow. Currently the houses are Bishop (red), Antoine (green), Edwards (yellow) and Marryshow (blue). The school is proud to have one of the most diverse curriculums amongst all schools in Grenada. The curriculum ranges from traditional academic subjects to technical training. Most recently, the curriculum has been further expanded to include: Economics, Physical Education, Religious Education and Dance.
